We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Assistant Vice President Records and Knowledge Management.


In this role, you will:
  • The jobholder is responsible for directing the implementation of a local records management programme on behalf of all Global Businesses, Global Functions and HSBC Operations, Services and Technology departments and leading the units in demonstrating compliance to group policy and standards.
  • The jobholder, as part of the Global Knowledge Management (GKM) team will act as a liaison for Knowledge Management (KM) project implementation. The jobholder will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage the risks and costs involved in ensuring business records and knowledge are managed in accordance with global policy and all local legal and compliance requirements. 
  • The jobholder has an active role in driving operational efficiencies by identifying synergist across business lines and capitalizing on opportunities in standardizing records and knowledge management procedures. The jobholder shall ensure success in the roll-out of related Group technology and communications as guided by the global Records and Information Governance teams.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in records management preferably within banking industry.
  • Experience on coordinating bank wide exercise or bank wide project implementation.
  • Interpersonal, good analytical skills, and problem solving.
  • Effective communication skill to a wide range audiences from different level of seniority.
  • Good communication in English verbally and in-written.
